What to do about cracked and unlevel sidewalks on West College and West Lee Streets was again the

topic of discussion at an Enterprise City Council work session.

For the second time in as many months, Councilman Eugene Goolsby brought the matter of broken

sidewalks to the table at the Feb. 18 work session.

“Yesterday I had a visit from a man who lives on West Lee and his daughter,” Goolsby told the council.

“He had tripped and fallen on one of the unleveled joints (in the sidewalk).”

Goolsby described the man’s injuries from the fall on the broken sidewalk that is, in places he said, up to

six inches jutting up from level.
