Wallace "Al" Miller Jr. is the senior member currently serving on the Enterprise City Council with 25 years' experience.

"Because I have been honored to serve on the city council for a quarter of a century, I have a unique understanding of the day-to-day operations of the city as well as the goals that the city and its citizens have been able to reach," Miller says. "I'm proud of the improvements we have made to prepare our city for success in the future and I want to keep working to move Enterprise forward."

Miller, the son of Dr. and Mrs. Wallace Miller, is a native of Enterprise and a graduate of Enterprise High School and Troy State University. He and his wife, Allison Chancey Miller, have two children, Jon Wallace and Anna Catherine. The owner of Miller Alarm Electronics and Invisible Fence, Miller is also a member and deacon at First Baptist Church of Enterprise, a member of the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, a Mason and Shriner.

Fort Rucker

A member of the Fort Rucker-Wiregrass Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army, Miller is committed to maintaining a strong relationship with Fort Rucker.

"I support and am thankful for Fort Rucker, its personnel, active duty, civilian personnel and retirees," Miller says. "They have contributed positively to our city through the years."

Council Service

Councilman Miller is proud of his longtime service on the council - his record of attendance, hard work and a cooperative working relationship with other government officials and agencies as they all strive to make Enterprise a better place to live.

Miller understands the importance of high-quality education and has established a supportive role in working with the city school system and Enterprise State Community College. He has served during a period of substantial business and industrial growth in recent years and will continue to support economic and industrial development.
