Enterprise Queens recognized at City Council meeting

May 07,2024

The 2024 Enterprise Queens were recognized Tuesday by Mayor William E. Cooper and members of the Enterprise City Council.

Miss Enterprise Hannah Wood, Teen Miss Enterprise Adalynne Adkinson, Junior Miss Enterprise Rileigh Scarlett, Petite Miss Enterprise Jaliyah Leverette, Little Miss Enterprise Raelynn Gilley and Future Little Miss Enterprise Bella Litherland each were presented with a pin featuring the city seal.

“We are proud to have these young ladies represent the City of Enterprise over the next year,” Mayor William E. Cooper said. “From being a small business owner, to a raising farm animals, participating in sports like cheerleading, softball, volleyball, track and jiu-jitsu, to dance and gymnastics and playing the piano, these young ladies are well-rounded individuals. We look forward to seeing them participate in our city events and having them serve as role models to other youth in our community.”

The Enterprise Queens were crowned March 17 by the Altrusa Club, which hosts the annual pageant.  The Queens will serve as ambassadors for the city at numerous events throughout the year like the upcoming Peak Season Kickoff at the Farmers Market and ribbon cuttings welcoming new businesses to the City of Progress. Both Wood and Gilley will represent Enterprise in the National Peanut Pageant this fall.
