Enterprise residents will notice an increase on their water bills as garbage and sewer fees went up effective April 1.

Enterprise City Council approved the increase at the Dec. 19, 2023 meeting.  The garbage fee was increased by $2.50, making the service $26.66 per month. The sewer fee was increased $2.50, making the base fee $11.98 per month, plus a 15% increase on additional water usage over 2,000 gallons per month.

Each year, Enterprise City Council asks city staff to evaluate the current rates for city services, to include sanitary sewer and garbage collection.  Staff conducts research and considers inflation costs before providing recommendations to Council. The goal is to make the services cost neutral, meaning the City of Enterprise is not losing or making money off the service.

The increase will be reflected on Enterprise residents’ water bills.  Customers are reminded that the city offers online bill pay.  For more information, visit enterpriseal.gov and click on the Water Department tab under “Services.”  Customers can also pay water bills over the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by dialing 866-919-2046.
